Súeng Chang
Lihan Baya tells a folk story in the Pei' Aloon dialect of the Sa'ban language. The story is about rescuing Súeng Chang after she has been taken up to the skies by Belalé's son. The story was recorded in Long Banga on 15th March 2019.

"oh Grandfather, slice the thigh meat"

"yabiin deh nah Súeng Chang"
"they took Súeng Chang away"

"ayiin-ayiin kaweh"
"get home safe"
"mai nah éek la'toen"
"I'll go ahead"

and he ran home
am Súeng Chang ai dei
Súeng Chang wasn't there
yabiin anaak Belalé' mai wan langét yaai yeh
Belalé's son had stolen her away up into the sky

"I don't know how to do that," he said

"do you know how to do it?"
"ooooooi lei nceh"
"you're a man"
"ndeh keh am wei' lé' aroo' yeh iii?"
"why don't you know how to do it?"

his darts flew around

and changed into a big mountain

making a path all the way to her

he stepped up

and when he reached the sky
